Employment Criteria: All officers employed by V.S.S. are required to initially apply for an available position. Once their application is received, the interview process begins. Our minimum requirements for all new hires are:
- Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
- Must clear a Federal and State background check.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess legal federal documentation to work.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must verify previous employment for last three years.
- Must have dependable transportation.
If the applicant meets the minimum standards, they are contacted and an appointment is set for further screening. VSS Security does not accept any walk-in applicants for interviews.
