Classifying Your Business

V.S.S. Security Services’ classification methods are implemented to better focus on your needs. After evaluation, your property will be categorized as follows:

Premium Property: An account having at least 100 hours of on site security per week. An account in need of multiple pages of detailed post orders, including but not limited to, handling bomb threats, evacuation procedures, and work place violence training to name a few. These accounts will have the ability to select from a variety of different uniforms: (see uniform chart). These properties typically require the presence of a lead officer in charge or shift supervisor. Premium post orders will be revised on an as need basis on semi annually by V.S.S. management.

Standard Property: An account having less than 100 hours of on site security per week. An account that rarely utilizes the services of a lead officer in charge or shift supervisor. An account in need of post orders consisting of one to two pages of material. Officers assigned to these accounts will be issued our standard V.S.S. uniforms. These accounts require minimal interaction between company employees or visitors and our V.S.S. officer.

Patrol Account: Our patrol vehicles are marked and are designed to act as visual deterrents. This service is typically provided to properties experiencing minimal theft and vandalism. This service is capable of locking and unlocking gates, alarms responses, door checks, and crowd control, to name a few. All patrol officers carry radios/ cell phones, providing them with the capability to contact local law enforcement and designated company contacts.

Officer Qualifications

Shows they are in excellent health with no physical limitations.

Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.

Presents a neat and professional appearance.

Passes a criminal background check, work history review, and professional reference check over the last five years.

Displays good character and stability.
